Bouzeron is a small village in Côte Chalonnaise neighbouring Rully. The vines have been cultivated here for over 10 centuries. This ancient village has been well known for a long time, for the quality of its Aligoté.

The hand-picked harvest is transported to our winery in Mercurey. The grapes are therefore pressed rapidly before being vinified in stainless steel vats.
The wine is then raised on its fine lees for 8 to 10 months, enabling it to acquire a certain suppleness and more complex aromas.
Our Tasting Notes:
A brilliant pale yellow colour. This wine is expressive and releases the typical aromas of its grape variety: white flowers and lemon, combined with mineral notes.
On the palate, it proves to have beautiful liveliness. The finish is slightly acidic and leaves a nice sensation of freshness.
Serve at: 10°C to 12°C

Cellaring Potential: 2 to 4 years
The brilliant, clear yellow colour suggests a soft and expressive wine. Indeed there is a complex nose of linden tree flowers, grapefruit and lemon. The mouth is full and round with beautiful long lasting aromas, almost buttery.

As very often in the Bouzeron appellation, the nose is predominantly mineral with floral, fruity, white peach notes. On the palate, this wine is nervous, with fine liveliness and proves to have long lasting aromas. The finish is nice and lemony. This is a very fine Bouzeron.

The Bouzeron 2006 opens with floral, grapefruit and citrus notes on the nose. The lively attack quickly gives way to freshness without excessive acidity on the palate. The fine acidic finish leaves a nice sensation of freshness on the palate. It's a wine which is very representative of its appellation.
