This wine goes through the malolactic fermentation, which occurs completely naturally, in oak barrels. It is matured from 14 to 16 months in barrels selected for their fine grain and a light toast: 70 % in new oak and the remainder in 1 or 2 year-old barrels.
Our Tasting Notes:
A beautiful deep and intense red. The nose is proving to be particularly expressive, revealing complex aromas of ripe fruits and toasty and smoky notes.
After a rather supple attack, this wine has beautiful volume and high-quality and is full of finesse and elegance.

This Chambolle-Musigny "Les Fuées" 2008 is particularly expressive. The powerful nose has scents of mocha, grilled almonds, and candied orange. This wine is round on the palate and counterbalanced by mature, blended tannins. It has a long elegant finish with great richness.

This Chambolle-Musigny "La Combe d'Orveau" is particularly expressive. It has a very nice mix of aromas - vanilla, mocha, blackcurrant, cherry and faded rose. After the very complex nose, this wine is full on the palate with velvety, mellow tannins. It's a fine, elegant wine; a worthy representative of the village of Chambolle.
