The producer, we have selected, provides us with high-quality grapes which we vinify and mature in our cellars in Nuits-Saint-Georges, with the same technical means and the same demand for quality as all our wines.

Two thirds of the wine is completely vinified in barrels. Then it is matured in these same barrels, with the rest of the yield, for 13 to 15 months. Our barrels are selected for their fine grain and a light toast.

Our Tasting Notes:

A brilliant light yellow colour. The very pleasant expressive and complex nose opens up with floral and slightly woody notes. The attack is bold and frank, then this wine is full and harmonious on the palate. It has a certain vivaciousness, which gives it good length on the palate and very long-lasting aromas.

Suggestions

Serve at: 12°C

This Meursault Blagny is dominated by grapefruit, orange peel and white peach notes. A 'tense' and mineral wine, its attack  is forthright and chiselled. It is very harmonious on the palate and has great aromatic finesse.

Press Notes

Allen Meadows: 86-89/100

This Meursault Blagny 2006 opens up with scents of candied yellow fruit, and slightly woody aniseed hints. A full wine, after its mineral and forthright attack. There is a very nice harmony between the nose and the palate.  The long finish is pure and fresh. Tasting this harmonious wine gives us an impression of finesse and minerality.
